I am unashamedly a Good Girl with a Rebel Heart. I am passionate about people, their stories, their inner workings, and I am equally passionate about doing Life differently. With a background that involved traversing remote regions of Australia during my unconventional childhood, my fierce independence, love of adventure, and curiosity about people's stories and experiences were born.
My journey in psychology began as a 'mature age' student when I started my formal training at the age of 22. I fell in love with the discipline and found it to be my first true Love after reading and writing. As a clinical psychologist with two decades of practice experience, I have had the privilege of exploring the psyches of people from various walks of life, both in Australia and internationally.
Throughout my career, I have developed a deep and intuitive understanding of people through advanced post-graduate training in neuroscience, attachment theory, parenting, and positive psychology. This knowledge has allowed me to help individuals optimize their Mind, Body, and Spirit for peak performance and happiness in both business and life.
My journey into digital entrepreneurship and The Silver Lining Collection began as a seasoned professional, delving into the realm of online platforms and services. Inspired by my years of experience in clinical psychology and a passion for helping individuals achieve peak performance and happiness, I embarked on this new venture to extend my reach and impact. The Silver Lining Collective stands as a beacon for building resilient families and communities, offering a range of psychology services, wellbeing workshops, and professional development activities. Through this platform, I aim to combine the wisdom gained from my diverse training in neuroscience, attachment theory, parenting, and positive psychology to empower individuals and businesses alike in optimizing their mind, body, and spirit for a fulfilling life journey.
As a mentor, I find profound joy in nurturing the potential of aspiring minds. Guiding individuals through their journey of self-discovery and professional growth is a privilege I hold dear. Witnessing the transformation of a curious learner into a confident achiever is immensely fulfilling. My approach is rooted in empathy, encouragement, and a deep belief in the unique capabilities of each mentee. Through tailored guidance, constructive feedback, and unwavering support, I aim to inspire a generation of thoughtful, compassionate leaders who are empowered to make positive contributions to society. Mentoring is not just a role for me; it is a calling that allows me to share knowledge, ignite passions, and cultivate lasting relationships built on trust and mutual respect.
